So, hello there and thanks for checking out my blog! 🙂
It’s always kind of strange to do one of these “About Me” pages, but I’m going to give it a go.
First thing’s first, I started this blog to just have an outlet for my stories, my experiences and my life. At the time, the focus was on my life as a person with a disability–specifically Cerebral Palsy–but also life as a New England family girl through and through, a lover of all things fitness and health, a 20-something woman with strong roots in her Catholic faith, and a life-long learner. I have been blessed that it has had the opportunity to grow into so much more than a “disability blog”, and instead a place for me to speak, share, and inspire through each and every facet of my life.
I hold a M.S. in Professional and Rehabilitation Counseling and am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor working as a vocational counselor, serving people with disabilities .
In addition to this, I am also an AFAA Certified Group Exercise Instructor with a huge passion for helping people find their strength through fitness. You can find more information about this by clicking on my “Fitness” tab above.
Would you be willing to tell me what part of CT you are in?
Cheers to another preemie who has beaten the odds. I’m going to follow your great blog and share it with my son, who is struggling to figure out how to move forward with his life. Thanks again for following Mike&Ollie: 24-weekers Who Beat the Odds.
I love your site. Keep up the great work! I will definitely be checking out your site on a regular basics.
